Several
years and 600 gigs, into their musical journey, Eric Eggleston
and his band couldnıt be more excited about what the future holds
for them. This 4-piece band, all in their mid 20ıs, thrive on
making audiences dance and cheer to their eclectic brand of rock.
The band
has spent much of the last year on stages all over, including
a summer tour of Ireland where they had the pleasure of performing
for Sir Elton Johnıs after party.
January
2004 saw the boys off to Scandinavia, performing 27 gigs across
Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Upon their return to Canada they
finished recording their first commercial release ıThis Modern
Lifeı, and immediately embarked on a tour sponsored by Molson,
of several Canadian Universities.
Thanks to the group's original brand of rock, you never know who you might
see at one of their gigs. "You never know who's going to
show up," says Chip Welsford. "One night the students
are going off their heads and the next you've got the Leahy family
step-dancing to one of our songs."
